Four disciplines, one team.

Asset Flux works across AI, software, and infrastructure as a single practice. The engineers who design a system also ship it, run it, and continue to improve it as the business around it grows.

01 / AI

AI Integration

Bringing large language models into the products and processes a business actually depends on. Work spans Claude, GPT, and open-source models via OpenRouter, with prompting, retrieval, and evaluation considered from the outset.

  • AI-powered customer support and triage agents
  • Document and knowledge retrieval pipelines
  • Multi-step agent systems with tool use
  • Eval suites and prompt regression tests
02 / DEV

Custom Development

Backend services, internal tools, and the quiet infrastructure that keeps a modern operation working. Python and TypeScript on a current web stack, written with restraint and finished where it is started.

  • Internal admin dashboards and operator tools
  • REST and webhook APIs
  • Scheduled data sync between SaaS tools
  • Migration scripts and one-off integrations
03 / OPS

Managed Infrastructure

Hosting, deployment, monitoring, and the daily operational work that keeps a system in good standing. Engineering time is billed; cloud costs at Hetzner, OVHcloud, Netcup, and PythonAnywhere are passed through at the provider rate.

  • Provisioning and hardening on EU cloud providers
  • Deployment pipelines and rollback procedures
  • Uptime monitoring and incident alerting
  • Database backups and recovery testing
04 / CARE

Ongoing Support & Retainers

Monthly agreements covering availability, maintenance, and continued refinement. The engineers who build a system remain with it, so the institutional knowledge of how it was made is never lost between engagements.

  • Defined response windows for production issues
  • Quarterly roadmap and architecture reviews
  • Proactive maintenance and dependency updates
  • Senior on-call coverage for incidents

A four-step engagement.

Every engagement begins with a written scope. From there, work is delivered in weekly increments, with the engineer accessible throughout. The majority of our work is for clients returning for a second project.

01 / Discovery

Understand the problem

A short paid scoping conversation to understand the problem, the surrounding constraints, and what a successful outcome looks like.

02 / Proposal

Written scope

A written proposal covering timeline, deliverables, and pricing. Fixed-scope by the project, or monthly by retainer, depending on the nature of the work.

03 / Build

Weekly delivery

Working software, delivered in weekly increments, with direct access to the engineer carrying out the work.

04 / Partnership

Stay on the system

Continued support, refinement, and additions as the system grows. The same engineer remains available, with the same context, for whichever change is required next.

Engagement terms. Retainers run month-to-month with a thirty-day notice period. Fixed-scope projects are quoted in writing before any work begins. Clients are not asked to commit beyond what they need.

Operators who need senior capacity, not headcount.

Our clients are typically small to mid-sized companies in need of production-grade AI and software capability without the cost of an in-house team. Engagements range from a single integration to a multi-year retainer.

We have worked with rental operators, tour businesses, founders building SaaS, and agencies adding AI capability to their existing offering. Clients are based in the Netherlands and across the wider EU, the Caribbean, and the United States. Work is conducted asynchronously, with overlapping hours arranged where a project requires them.

A small Dutch practice, built to remain.

Asset Flux is a Dutch eenmanszaak registered in The Hague, working with international clients by retainer or by project. The practice is small by design, and engagements are taken on with the intention of remaining useful for years rather than months.

Most of what we deliver is meant to recede into the background of the business it supports. Systems should behave well, demand little attention, and continue to do so as the operation around them grows.

Start a conversation.

A short note describing the problem you would like to solve is sufficient. Every enquiry receives a written reply within one business day.
